The best game objectively is Let's GO. May provide less features, but everything is polished and made with lots of love (except for the Mew cashgrab and the imposibility to evolve Meltan at the Switch games). In fact, this was the only game that got me to competitive battles because of its simplicity (with unofficial tournaments). Legends in my opinion is the best Pokémon game on switch. They make catching Pokémon fun, it’s story is decent with the last 20% being great. There are some puzzles in it. Specifically collocating the unown which use riddles. But I would say scarlet and violet have the best story. Arceus is definitely another favorite of mine, Scarlet/Violet helped push further the different mechanisms they wanted to implement. It’s like what the older fans have been wanting for a while. Highly recommend it for yourself even. The diamond Pearl remakes are what they are. Like for like remakes, even down to the top down chino look. Not quite what the fan base wanted but Arceus made up for that.
