Not really, the connection difference from pc n ps4 is indeed way different. But besides that you can still do it cus ds3 was made for console so the controler really helps. Example chase plays on pc with a ps4 controler n does weapon, ring swaps and of course roll backstab. Anyway im on ps4 i can help u, i would also like to learn how to do it.

It depends on ehat kind of weapons you like + build. But in general you want low weight and low requirements. Claymore, Zwie, Estoc, and Garg Halberd are all good. Would also recommend Falchion, Battle Axe or Mace for guard break if you need that for some reason. Also what ProudLeaf said.

The only difference in damage 2handing a weapon will do is with regard to strength scaling, as you receive 1.5x strength when 2handing. So 2handing an elemental weapon (or something with zero strength scaling) will not increase the damage it does. 2handing does increase poise damage and often has a better move-set than 1handed attacks.
